The temperatures have finally started to dip here in Atlanta and a cool chill sweeps through the air as the sun sets from the sky. The beginnings of fall are here, which means that football season is also in full swing!
The temperatures have finally started to dip here in Atlanta and a cool chill sweeps through the air as the sun sets from the sky. The beginnings of fall are here, which means that football season is also in full swing! So break out your Falcons jersey (or whoever you root for) because it's time to plan a fall football party.
1.) Get your outdoor space prepped

With the crisp air outside, your friends will want to hang outdoors for a bit before the big game. Make sure your outdoor space is transitioned for the new season with blankets, fire elements and richly colored foliage. For a little extra fun, spruce it up with football-themed decorations like a DIY football pennant garland. Then, get into the competitive spirit by setting up a classic backyard game like corn hole.
2.) Whip up a snack deserving of a W
Whether your teams wins or loses, the imporant things is to eat well at a party. Burgers, pizza and cheesy goodness are always crowd pleasers, but putting a special game-day touch takes your snacks to the next level. You can bake football field brownies and Rice Krispies celebrating your favorite team or simply decorate your serving table with fun football printables.
3.) Get crafty with mason jars

Beer is a given at any football party, but beer in a festive football mason jar is even better. All you need to create these jars is a sheet of white duct tape and a Cricut or an X-ACTO Knife. Click here for the tutorial.
4.) Create a football pumpkin

To really marry the fall season with football season, turn a pumpkin into a pig skin. There's no carving involved, making this a quick and easy craft. Grab an oval-shaped pumpkin, brown and white paint and, if you're feeling ambitious, some ribbon to tie upon the stem.
With a little crafting, a close group of friends and a lot of football spirit, you're ready to kick off fall!
